Summary: I have now seen greatness!
Comment: Okay, I have been looking at Samsung televisions for the last 8 months or so, the pictures always looked unreal to me, and every place I went it seemed if the employees there were in a trance because they could never tell me how it was creating that good of a picture and how they could even say the other 1080P's were close to the picture when I new Johnny Depp and the rest of the pirates were not coming out of the tv like they were on the Samsung. Long story short, I have been wanting the tv for months, and after buying a magnavox and Toshiba 42" I finally had to push all those to the side and get what I wanted! Two days ago I did it, and I have never seen something so beautiful (my wife is up there mind you :) ) Every day I watch the TV I am still amazed, I watch Direct TV HD channels and the pictures pop out on that, I watch Old Dvd's movies made in the 70's they pop out, I watch Blue Ray disc and the clarity is incredible!! This was the best purchase I ever did. I see no flaws (although the remote wheel does kinda suck) I recommend this TV to anyone who is thinking of going HD, and strongly imply not to consider any other brand, it is just that much better than the rest!

Comment: I got this TV earlier this week and it has been amazing!! The picture looks great and it is very user friendly. I just wish i could afford another one!! I would recommend this TV to anyone. The service from Amazon was GREAT too! The price on the TV went down shortly after I bought it so I emailed them and had a refund for the difference in less than a day. I have gotten two refunds on it so far. CEVA did a great job shipping it too. The box was not damaged and they came in and set it up. Overall a GREAT choice to buy this TV and an even better choice to buy it from Amazon.

Summary: Wow!!
Comment: Really nice TV. I researched for quite some time and visited the local CC just to see some side by side comparisons. The LN46A650 out shined the rest. I am also using it as a PC monitor mostly for viewing "home" movies and pictures. The monitor can easily be read from 12 feet away, so even browsing is not a problem from the couch. Just a good all around product and Amazon delivery was excellent too.

Summary: Very pleased with the TV and the delivery
Comment: This Samsung HDTV has a fabulous HD picture and a wealth of adjustments. I wish the owners manual better explained the detailed picture settings and what to expect before making adjustments. The picture quality using a standard def cable box input is understandably soft and stretched out in 16:9 mode. But looking at the Blue Ray disc of Planet Earth is mesmerizing in its clarity and depth of color.
I live in the St. Louis area and the white glove delivery service from CEVA was first rate - no damage to the box or the TV. The delivery people were courteous and took their time with the unboxing and placing the set on my entertainment center. Overall, a great purchase experience.

Summary: Great TV not so great remote Poor Delivery
Comment: I did much research on this TV and found it all that it was advertised to be. The picture is fantastic and the features are perfect. As others have stated the remote is somewhat hard to use, but there are workarounds to make it usable. (Just keep experimenting!) The sound tends to be somewhat "tinnie" but adjustments with the equalizer make it better.
I replaced a 4 year old Sony projection LCD set with this set. The difference is night and day. I would recommend this set to anyone. The only negative was the "White Glove" delivery. They don't tell you upfront how slow it is. I live one state away from the ship point, and it took a week just to get to my town. I ended up picking it up at the freight terminal to avoid another 3 days for final delivery!! I would have rather paid extra to get it sooner, but Amazon does not offer any other option for delivery. The TV gets 5 stars, Amazon get 0 stars for service.
The Amazon price fluctuates so check it out before you purchase. I paid about $60 less than it's current price!
