Summary: Excellent Music from an Excellent Game!
Comment: Whilst I haven't yet bought the soundtrack, I will be ordering a copy come January, thanks to it's brilliant use in the game. Moving away from the subversive electronica of Harry Gregson William's MGS2 soundtrack and his MGS3 efforts (all superb in their own way), the composers craft a wonderful and subtle set of tunes that are all distinct and memorable in their own way. From the sadness of the revelations of Python's activities in his years without Snake, to the brutal, tense horror of Null's two tunes, and the brilliant work on the confrontation with Cunningham, the soundtrack truly comes to a head with the excellent tune for the player's confrontation with Gene, a number which suggests your battle with him is truly one of honour and destiny, and the end song, 'Calling to the Night', a beautifully sombre piece that fits perfectly, given what becomes of Big Boss' noble intentions.
A brilliant effort, that easily stands alongside some of the stronger efforts from the series' home console incarnations.

Summary: First of all...
Comment: ...I am a huge MGS fan. I have bought quite a few soundtracks on mgs -series (4), and I really enjoy all of them. So this review may not apply to everybody.
The album has many tracks in it, only fault (which is why I didn't give full five stars) is that the tracks are just too darn short! I wish the producers had done something to make them longer. Most of the tracks are only between 1-2 minutes long which, to me, is quite short.

Summary: Buyiing A Game for the Music For A Change
Comment: Normally I will buy an OST after playing a game, but in this case, I wish I had a PSP because I would buy the game based on the OST!

Summary: Soundtrack review
Comment: I don`t usually buy soundtracks, but for this game I had to make an exception. The music in Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops is some of the best music I have ever heard in a videogame.
If you played the game and loved the music, buy this soundtrack and relive all the great moments from the game!
