Comment: Very quiet and good heat dissipation. The price was right with free shipping. I have a older case that runs hot and this heatsink lowered the cpu temps by about 2-3 degrees Celsius. The only minus would be the cpu retention brackets. When you attach the clips it almost feels like you are going to break the cpu holder bracket or the motherboard itself. You have to apply allot of pressure to secure the heatsink to the board. The oem Intel heatsink fan design is much easier to install.

Summary: Not what I expected.
Comment: First off, the clips are a pain to attach and remove. After adding this heat sink to my board (P4 3.0GHz, Arctic silver compound), the cpu temps hovered around 55 degrees on idle (and thats without overclocking!) and increased to the high 60's under load. I removed this and inserted my old TT Volcano 7+ and now the temps are around 43 degrees on idle. The heatsink may have been improperly seated, but I'm sticking with my old Volcano.

Comment: The Thermaltake TR2 M12 A4012 CPU cooler worked perfectly. It was relatively easy to install and the CPU now runs cooler then the previously installed cooler. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Comment: This cooler is tricky to install in a crowded mini-tower case. The clips take
a bit of force to get them to snap into place. But once it is installed it
runs quietly.
