We have high chlorine in the water and was irritating the baby's skin but after installing the shower head the skin is less dry and itchy. Customer Rating: Summary: So far so good! Comment: I've only had this a few days, but so far so good! It really makes a huge difference with the water quality. I can really feel and smell a difference. (No more chlorine smell and the water feels softer) One recommendation though-- remove the water restrictor that is inside the handle.. it makes a HUGE difference in the water pressure. (There are instructions inside the manual on how to do this). I already recommended this showerhead to several people I know. Customer Rating: Summary: Good so far Comment: Before buying and using this showerhead: Itchy, dry, flaky scalp After buying and using this showerhead: moistourized, clear scalp and softer hair! It's amazing how your hair can improve so much just because of a filter, I'll recommend it to friends with a dry, flaky scalp. Customer Rating: Summary: Could be made better Comment: This would be a great product if the part that connects to the shower pipe was made of metal instead of plastic. According to the instructions, you are to use a wrench to put the part on even though you are screwing plastic on to metal. I just used my hands to put the part on and it cracked (even though I used plumbers tape as instructed). I went to home depot to see if I could find a metal replacement for it, but they don't sell them. I did however find a plastic replacement which I purchased for $5. I like the product itself as my skin and hair feels better and soap lathers better, however they could have made the part that screws on to the metal shower pipe METAL instead of plastic. Poor design. Customer Rating: Summary: Not such a good deal. Comment: The weight of the shower head caused the entire head to sag down, preventing the adjustment of an appropriate angle. I really wanted this showerhead to work out for me (for the sake of the filter), but, I suppose with the quality of the product, it's no big surprise that I have to send it back.
