They are great for removing hot pots from the stovetop or baking trays from the oven. It can also be used as a trivet to protect countertops from the heat of hot pots. The silicone is heat resistant up to 650?F. These potholders are dishwasher safe. Each potholder is 7-inches by 7-inches.

Comment: The cook loved this Christmas present. They have an odd slippery feel (a minus), but really don't conduct heat and easily wash in the dishwasher.

Again.......I bought these because they were supposedly from a French company so I thought I was buying a high-quality product made in France. But....what I received was a very pale green, not the darker shown in the picture, AND it's made in China.

Comment: I use these potholders everyday with baking and cooking but mostly as trivets. they work great as trivets. but the color i got was a light lime green and not the dark green as shown. but i am satisfied with this product.
