You bought your ButtKicker2 Electromagnetic Transducer to experience realistic special effects and concert-quality music. Now you can attach your ButtKicker to your furniture directly! The ButtKicker Furniture Mount kit contains everything you need to attach a ButtKicker to most any chair or couch. Just place the mounting plate under one leg of your furniture and attach the ButtKicker to the other side; all mounting hardware is included. Additional rubber isolators are included for placing under the furniture's other legs. It is important that you mount the rubber isolators under the other legs of your furniture; regardless of the surface, using the rubber isolators will drastically improve the performance of the ButtKicker. The ButtKicker is sold separately. If you have not yet purchased the ButtKicker, you can save by buying the BK-LFE Kit ButtKicker Kit, which contains the ButtKicker and a powered amplifier as well as all connection wires and the mounting hardware included in this kit.

Summary: Great product, easy to install, just one caution.
Comment: This product works wonderfully in most applications. The only thing you need to be aware of is that if you are installing them on recliners, the recliners need to have feet. If the recliner has a round platform base, you need to be creative as the chair mounting kit does not fit well under the platform. I ended up making a paddle shaped platform to mount the kit and chair to out of 3/4 inch plywood where the mounting kit could slide under the 'handle' of the paddle so that the buttkicker would not interfere with either the chair rotation or the reclining. It also enabled me to slide the buttkicker chair unit completely under the platform. The other thing you need to do is to be very careful when tightening the nuts. You should tighten them evenly by rotating around the unit. If you don't you run the risk of breaking a foot on the buttkicker.
After you get past this, hang on!! The buttkicker is an incredible technology!
