India's first test series in Pakistan in 15 years ended just the way it began : with a thumping innings win for the visitors. But more than the results, it was the warmth displayed by the Pakistanis that won the hearts of not only the cricketers, but of the thousands of Indians who visited Pakistan to watch the matches. The newfound self-belief in the Indian cricketers had its roots in the success achieved in Australia on the preceding tour when the series ended in a 1-1 draw. Special Features : MEMORABILIA : Additional booklet containing India-Pakistan cricketing history, highlights on interesting facts and trivia, scorecards, special mention on achievers. Contains highlights of the entire Test series. 1 DVD.

Customer Rating: Summary: Brilliant for an Indian Cricket fan Comment: I've just been revisiting previous Indian triumphs; it's nice that the new Indian team under Rahul Dravid has produced quite a few, but we must not forget this slice of history.
Coming from a enthralling Test Series against Australia, Ganguly managed to lead his band of marauders to a Test Series Victory against Pakistan. Brilliant displays of batting, such as Sehwag's triple century, highlight this video, yet that isn't where it ends.
Indeed, this DVD not only chronicles a great win for India, but also the birth of a new philosophy among Indians and Pakistanis. The 'true' beautiful game brought together Pakistani and Indian supporters in a wonderful way; fans identified each other's nations through players-not as hated machines bent on ruining each other. For instance, Pakistani fans gave standing ovations to the great feats of Sehwag's frenetic batting; additionally, Indian and Pakistani fans banded together in groups displaying the national colours of each other's countries proclaiming a new peace between the rival nation.
It was on this pitch, and not in some diplomatic meeting, that peace was truly realized!
