Customer Rating: Summary: very reliable Comment: have had this for four years now, and it has never given me problems. it has a feature where you can you use password code to put those files you dont want pulic access to. Convient for presentations and design offers nice portability. the only downfall is the odd shape, which it is sometime too wide to fit another usb next to it. otherwise, very good Customer Rating: Summary: Useful, but flawed Comment: I bought my first Lexar 128mb JumpDrive (of the translucent purple variety) some time ago and loved it. Large enough for most storage requirements, small enough to carry around in my pocket -- it's a perfect solution to so many computer needs!
So I went out and bought two of this variety; so far as I could tell, they were pretty much identical, just a different color scheme. Unfortunately, there is a design flaw; I have to switch files among several computers, and the purple JumpDrive does the job without a hitch. This black and silver model is too wide to fit into my Mac laptop's USB port. (The USB connection itself is fine, but the plastic housing is too wide and prevents a connection.)
This is still a useful item, but I highly recommend the Lexar PD-128-231 128 MB JumpDrive Portable USB Flash Drive instead! Customer Rating: Summary: Decent, but has one significant problem. Comment: I bought this USB JumpDrive to carry my school work between home and school. Unfortunately, the large size of this JumpDrive prevents it from being usable on the school's computers! When buying a USB Flash Drive, be sure it is SLIM, or be sure that you have access to un-obstructed USB ports on all workstations.
