The current scientific literature shows that Milk Thistle, standardized to 80% "Silymarin", in doses of about 600 mg. per day offer therapeutic benefits in the maintenance of a healthy liver. Specifically, clinical research has shown that; Alcohol-related liver disease, Hepatitis, Liver cirrhosis and Gallstones are conditions that standardized Milk Thistle has been shown to improve over a period of at least 8-12 weeks of continued use.
