Summary: works differently than one may expect
Comment: I understand where the first commentater with the 1-star rating may be coming from. However, the user must understand how this Homeopathic medicine works. Arnica Montana does exactly what it says, only not like Allopathic drugs. Used in conjunction with the Arnica Gel when an injury has occured - bruising, swelling and pain is essentially minimalized or stopped. The pellets work internally, and are gentle, the gel works topically with no odor or stickiness.
This combination is what i use for myself and my children- twin boys under 2yrs old, who are constantly getting bumps and falls. Just over the weekend, my son ran out a slider door onto a concrete patio , landed flat on his forhead. We immediately used Arnica Gel and pellets on the heavily dented area on his forhead that was starting to swell, and continued that every hour or so for the next day as needed, and my son had virtually no swelling and no bruising.
I personally use the pellets if my muscles are sore, I describe their effectiveness by : after taking them, i go about my day, and notice later on that i haven't had a complaining thought about the pain i was feeling before...i do find i take more doses than i would an nsaid, but it works.

Comment: I ordered this product in hopes that it would replace the nsaid that I take to ease the soreness and pain that accompanies me after strenuous exercise. I had read several product claims that this supplement provided the same relief without the long-term effects of continual nsaid usage. I first tried this product after an 8 mile run through Baghdad. I used this product as directed (sublingually) and awaited results. I experienced zero relief. My thinking was that I should try it after less strenuous activity. So again I took the recommend dose after a 3 mile run instead. Again I experienced no relief. I gave it a third try before throwing the container and its contents in the trash. The pellets are small, roughly the size of a BB, and have a sweet taste to them. It takes several minutes for them to dissolve leaving a very uncomfortable feeling under your tongue. I would not recommend the purchasing of this product. Perhaps someone else may heed better results than I did. I hope this review serves as a caution to this product's fictitious claims.
