Waterproof ski boots can trap moisture, reduce insulation, and foster fungal growth--not a healthy situation for winter feet. The Air Plus from DryGuys keeps feet--and hands--happy by drying out ski boots and gloves at the same time. Two separate turbine-powered drying units are included--one for each boot. Each attaches to the two-pronged 6-foot AC power cord. During use, the dryer’s long flexible tube extends into the toe of the boot, while the cuff is cinched around the turbine fan. Room-temperature air is sent into the boot, where it circulates, collects moisture, and then wicks out through the exhaust tube. Protruding out the top of the boot, the shorter exhaust tube holds a glove upright, which is dried at the same time. Lightweight and portable, the dryers conveniently store inside each boot, and usually work best when used for at least two hours. --Ann Bieri

Summary: Works well for Scuba boots
Comment: I bought this to dry my Scuba boots, which as everyone who dives knows, are notoriously difficult to dry. Tried it once so far, and after drip drying, it took about 4 hours to finish drying. It uses no heat, so no danger of fire or damage to neoprene. Compact enough for travel as it fits into the boots.
Compared to the other DryFast two-horned solid-plastic dryer, this one is much for compact for travel.
My main complaint is the power adapter, which is the older transformer type (9 volt 0.5 amp DC), that works only on 120 volts -- a problem for international travel. That will require some fiddling to correct. Also it's a bit noisy, but can always be put away somewhere when it's running.

Comment: I purchased this product to replace an inferior (other manufacturer's) product that bacame unsafe to use. I have another, slightly older DryGuy that is bigger and like the way is works and is constructed. Just came back from 5 days skiing at Whistler and this worked just fine. Nice and compact but just a little louder than I hoped. Quieter than the older DryGuy but louder than the Chinook. The price on Friday sale was great. On multiple day (even just 2) ski trips, the only way to not start with cold, wet feet is to dry them each night. And you do not need heat, just air movement. This unit works in a couple hours.
