Comment: This is my first at home dedicated printer. I have an Olympus E-500 camera that coupled nicely with the printer. I dislike using my inkjet printer due to he cost per print so generally it is a trip to a one hour photo to get prints. I think the best way to discribe the printer is to look at it's flexibility by giving you an example.
A very good friend of mine was in the process of moving into a new Condo and wanted to take pictures to work. I carried over my camera and printer to the new place. I think the camera weighs more but no big deal either way. I proceeded to take about 10 pics for her of the then vacant condo. Went to the printer set up on the kitchen counter and printed the pictures. Total time -- less than 1 hour. This beats running the the local 1 hour processing by a long way. You have to keep in mind that there are a lot of variables in the enteire process starting with the photographer eye.
The printer generated good clean prints. I have been a Nikon user but love the new printer - camera combination. The only issue I have is adjusting my picture taking to how the combination crops pictures (e.g 4:3 to 3:2). All in all I am very satisfied.

Comment: Received printer as a gift and am I ever so Glad!! This little printer has a big heart. The photo qualities are about 90% compared to larger/laser printers. The slighest grain noticable... HOWEVER... This printer is outstanding... It is light, it is portable to take to picinics, family gatherings, car-trip vacations (perfect for printing photo-postcards!!!)
I would highly recommend this printer to the person who takes photos all the time!!
