Summary: More adventures for Laura, Ma, Pa, Carrie and Mary
Comment: The series was starting to grow as well as the stars such as Melisa Gilbert, Melisa Sue Anderson and Alison Agrim (Nellie Olson) with more sparks between Laura and Nellie and other fun and dramatic stories which have a lot of good values which are missed in todays televission shows so if you want good television then get this season and the other seasons that follow.

Comment: I have 4 each DVDs of 'Little House on the Prairie', the Pilot, Season 1, 2, & 3. The 'sound' quality of all these DVDs is very poor !!!!
I have to turn the volume control on my TV as high as it will go and there are still sections in which I can not hear or distinguish what is being said.

Summary: Classic Nostalgia
Comment: I bought this for my wife, who faithfully watches Little House re-runs at 4:00 p.m. every afternoon. I grew up watching this program, back in the days when "wholesome" and "family values" were not cliches, but part of the fabric of American culture. My children love this show as well. If you enjoyed this show when it originally aired in the 70's, or if you are looking for a family safe alternative to the trashy, irreverant, sarcastic tripe that is on the air now, you cannot go wrong by purchasing not just this set, but the entire collection.
